Case Studies

Barclays Scotland

In 2020, Scottish Autism’s consultancy team began a two year partnership with Barclays to help design a more inclusive and accessible environment for neurodivergent employees at the banks new Glasgow Campus.

From design to implementation we provided advice on everything from flooring, materials, sensory considerations, and ensuring autistic voices were heard throughout the design process.

Royal Zoological Society Scotland (RZSS)

In 2023 we teamed up with staff from across both Edinburgh Zoo, and The Royal Highland Wildlife Park to make the visitor experience more inclusive.

The collaboration was a catalyst for improvements, such as improved wayfinding, sensory support tools, and website improvements, alongside the roll out of a bespoke training programme for all staff.

Scottish Rugby

In February 2025, Scottish Rugby unveiled a brand new sensory space at Murrayfield Stadium; the culmination of a partnership with Tiger Play and Scottish Autism.

Designed as calm retreat, this space offers autistic and other neurodivergent visitors a welcoming environment away for the noise and bustle of match or event days.

Thoughtfully equipped and supported on match and event days by our team, it goes beyond just a sensory space, but a place where everyone can enjoy their time at the stadium.
